Linux Quickstart.
Perform all of the steps outlined in the Linux Quickstart
document.
Create a document.
From your Linux account, start the gedit
text editor by opening a terminal window and typing gedit. Use
the text editor write a short note to your instructor that tells a bit
about yourself and save it under the name aboutme.txt.
Email the instructor.
Using HSU webmail (https://mail.hsutx.edu/owa)
send (as an attachment) the document you just created to the instructor at the
homework email account (cscihomework@hsutx.edu). The subject
should be: “P1 Homework #1; Part 2” (“P1” to indicate “Program Design
1”)
